Our LOA!!!!

We received our LOA (letter of Acceptance) from China today! This was a huge surprise that it only took 23 days. We were prepared that it could be 90 days, so this was very exciting. I was in client meetings all day today until 3:00. I got in my car and was checking my email and saw that someone else had received their LOA today but there was no voicemail on my cellphone. So I checked my home phone and there was the message from CAWLI. We will be traveling to bring Lexie home in March. I can't express the emotions of this call. It was very overwhelming and so exciting. Especially where we thought we would be traveling between April and June. This is just amazing how quickly it all fell into place after such a long wait! So now the rush of getting everything prepared for our journey. We won't know the exact travel dates in March until another 4-5 weeks but we know its March.

Well Lexie's room is almost finished. All of her furniture was delivered on Wednesday (what timing). She has a HUGE wardrobe of clothes. All of you that know me real well know that I love shopping for clothes especially for my children! So let me tell you this girl's got clothes!! I am having so much fun!

My hope while we are in China is to be able to update our blog during our travels and add pictures of Lexie when we finally meet her. So stay tuned.....
