Sunday in Guangzhou...

Well we had a very nice day. We spent a few hours walking around the island we are staying at and poking in a bunch of the little shops. Of course buying a few keepsakes along the way. Around 2:00 I left Kysle and the kids again for the last wholesale shopping excursion with Ann. We were hoping this trip would be a little less eventful. She took us for chinese silk dresses, outfits, paintings, scrolls and many other wonderful treasures from Lexie's country. I was able to get some wonderful things.
Last night we went out to an Italian restaurant with 2 other families we have become very friendly with. We had a very nice meal and great company. All the kids were great!
Today one of us needs to wait in our room from 10-11:30 while our guide goes to the US Consulate to get the children's Visa's in case there are any questions. Then we will go explore some more. Tomorrow we are off to the US Consulate for the swearing in ceremony then we take a train to Hong Kong for the night. Wednesday we fly back home. I can't believe our trip is coming to an end as it is bittersweet. It will be nice to get back home and get Lexie Tian Tian settled in but also sad that we are leaving her country. Hopefully we will return when she is older so she can enjoy it.

This will probably be the end of the posts from our trip as tomorrow will be very busy. See you all back in the states.
